3-point lower hook design positively grasps the coil spring. Vinyl coated hooks protect the epoxy coating found on certain MacPherson strut coil springs. The outboard hooks easily adjust horizontally to fit the wide range of spring diameters and vertically to fit each springs specific helix angle for even compression of the spring.
